Randi Johl, City Clerk

Randi Johl-Olson currently serves as the City Clerk for the City of Temecula and previously served as the City Clerk for the cities of Lodi and Fountain Valley. As a City Clerk, Randi serves as the local elections official, campaign and conflict of interest filing officer, general liability claims and contracts administrator, and administers records management and legislative programs.

Randi is the Legislative Director for the City Clerks Association of California. She also serves as the Department Representative on the League of California Cities Board of Directors, is a member and former Chair of the Legislative Committee for the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC) and is the liaison to the Fair Political Practices Commission on behalf of the city clerks. Over the last decade, Randi has worked on several key pieces of legislation affecting the city clerk profession, including bills related to elections, public records and open and transparent government. Randi received her undergraduate degree from Santa Ana College and her law degree from Trinity International University – Law and Graduate School. Randi is also the proud mother of one son, DJ.
