Melissa is a Program Manager for ILG. Prior to joining ILG in December of 2013, she worked as staff for a member of Congress, with a California business improvement district and a collaborative policy center in Washington State. She has over 10 years of experience in outreach and communication and has helped convene stakeholder groups around flood control, homelessness and other complex issues. Her educational background includes a B.A. in Political Science from UC San Diego and an M.P.A. from the University of Washington’s Evans School of Public Affairs.
